‘Freaky Friday’ Sequel Adds Jordan E. Cooper
EXCLUSIVE: Jordan E. Cooper has joined Disney’s Freaky Friday 2 as Jett. He stars alongside returning cast members Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Mark Harmon and Chad Michael Murray in the sequel to the 2003 $160.8M grossing global family pic.
Nisha Ganatra (The High Note, Late Night) is directing. Kristin Burr and Andrew Gunn are producing.

The Mark Waters directed early millennium movie followed an overworked mother and her daughter who do not get along. When they switch bodies, each is forced to adapt to the other’s life for one freaky Friday. The movie was a reboot of the 1976 Disney movie starring Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris.
Cooper is an Tony Award-nominated actor, playwright, producer, and director. He is the youngest Black American playwright in the history of Broadway with his critically acclaimed play Ain’t No Mo’, which received six Tony Award nominations including Best Featured Actor in a Play for Cooper’s turn as the flight attendant, Peaches.
On TV, Cooper starred on BET’s The Ms. Pat Show, which he also created, executive produces and directs.
Cooper starred on FX’s Pose as MC Tyrone. He has his own production company, Cookout Entertainment, and was most recently profiled in Forbes 30 under 30 on the cover of the Hollywood & Entertainment class of 2024.
