Fred again.. is looking to end summer 2024 with a bang.

The electronic music producer, 31, posted to Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 1, to reveal that his forthcoming album, ten days, will be released on Sept. 6, as well as share its heavy-hitting tracklist and some thoughts on his creative process.

"My new record is called ten days," Fred wrote in a white plain text image shared on the social media platform. Describing the album as "ten songs about ten days," he went on to highlight how despite having a year filled with "biggg mad crazy moments," the new album will, conversely, highlight "very small quiet intimate moments" he has experienced.

Despite his humble description, the artist's to-be-released "intimate moments" bring some larger-than-life characters along for the ride in the form of a star-studded feature list. According to Spotify, the project features Sampha, SOAK, Anderson .Paak, CHIKA, Emmylou Harris, Duskus, Four Tet, Skrillex, Obongjayar, Jozzy, Jim Legxacy, Joy Anonymous, Scott Hardkiss and The Japanese House.

"Some of them are like the most intensely joyful things I have felt, and some of them are the other side of things," he continued of the moments that inspired his new album's tracks in the post, adding, "Some days I don't want to speak about loads cos I'm not the only person it was an important day for, if that makes sense."

On his Instagram Stories, Fred dove a bit further into the album's creation, noting that he began working on it "about a year ago" alongside videos containing snippets of the music.

He described the song "adore u" with Obongjayar as "the first day" on the album. That was followed by the tracks "ten" (featuring Jozzy and Jim Legxacy) and "places to be" (featuring Anderson .Paak), which Fred called "the next two days." All three of the aforementioned songs are currently available on streaming services.

Finally, Fred noted that 20 lucky fans were sent a vinyl copy of the song "sunshine baby" featuring The Japanese House, which will not appear on the ten days tracklist. The singer, whose real name is Amber Bain, was also tapped on Fred's song "backseat," which does appear on the final ten days tracklist.

As the artist noted in his Instagram post, 2024 has been quite a year for him. In April, Fred released USB001, described as "an infinite, ever-evolving album" with features from Lil Yachty, Swedish House Mafia, Rico Nasty, Future and more.

At the end of that same month, he, Skrillex and Four Tet stepped in with only days' notice as co-headliners at Coachella 2024 and closed out the weekend two lineup after Frank Ocean dropped off of his scheduled headlining performance at the festival due to a leg injury. And in June, Fred undertook another career milestone by headlining his first-ever stadium show at the legendary Los Angeles Coliseum.
