Freddie Gibbs, Don Cheadle Put Doppelg?nger Rumors To Bed
Freddie Gibbs and Don Cheadle want you to know that they are not the same person.
On Sunday (Nov. 19), the duo met up after the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Houston Rockets. Freddie took to X/Twitter to correct a fan who stated they saw him on the game’s Jumbotron. He insisted that it wasn’t him, but actually Don.
“That was big bro. That wasn’t me,” Gibbs said, standing next to Cheadle. “We’re two different people,” Cheadle chimed in. “He’s him and I’m me.” Gibbs quickly quipped, “He was in his seat. I was in my seat,” “We are not the same human,” the Marvel actor said once more. The two men then laughed it off and embraced each other with dap.
Their IRL meet-up arrives a year after the two embraced people saying they look alike. After a fan released a picture of Don wishing him a happy birthday, Freddie had fun with the doppelg?nger allegations. “Happy birthday to The Don, my mentor @DonCheadle,” Gibbs quote xweeted.

Elsewhere in celebrity lookalike news, John Legend recently saw a contestant on The Voice who looked eerily like him.
The Ohio native was shocked in October, when he turned around in his chair to see the person responsible for a vocally sound rendition of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me”. The Grammy Award-winning singer pointed out the contestant’s familiar features.
“I’m looking at myself,” the “Glory” performer said to the show’s other coaches as everyone rotated for the big reveal.
The person behind the smooth cover, who also caught the attention of Reba McEntire, was revealed as Talakai, a 32-year-old singer from Sacramento, Calif.

“A lot of times, people will send me pictures of people that they think look like me, and most of the time not really, and then I turned around and looked at you. We have the same haircut like… I was like he really legitimately looks like me,” exclaimed the EGOT winner as the audience cheered. He continued to ask if Talakai heard the comparison before.
“Every day at work I get it,” confirmed the hopeful star. “In school, I used to sing ‘Ordinary People’ down the hallway all the time.”
The “All Of Me” singer responded in jest, “I’m sorry I’ve been haunting you but now you’re on The Voice and I would love to have you on Team Legend.”
