Brigitte Macron is France’s first lady, married to French President Emmanuel Macron. Over the course of the last several years, the French first lady has gone through an entire style evolution. She’s attended red carpet events, state dinners with world leaders and even sat front row at a few fashion shows. More recently, Brigitte Macron fashioned a suited look in Louis Vuitton at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

When her husband was inaugurated as the new president of France in May 2017, Macron styled this blue Louis Vuitton skirt suit set with a pair of nude pointed toe pumps and coordinated handbag, marrying a classic style with a contemporary edge.

During a visit to the U.S., the Macrons attended a state dinner at the White House hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. For the occasion, Macron fashioned an all-white, high-neck, long-sleeve evening gown with ornate silver embellishments at the neckline and at the waist.

Macron took nautical inspiration for her look at the ceremonial welcome at the Arc De Triomphe alongside Queen Camilla in Paris on Sept. 20, 2023. The skirt suit look featured gold anchor buttons down the front placket of the long-sleeve navy jacket, which coordinated with the rest of the French first lady’s attire.

For the 2024 Paris Olympics, Macron styled a white skirt suit look by French fashion house Louis Vuitton for a gala dinner hosted by the International Olympic Committee. As the Olympic Games are hosted in Paris, the style choice was ideal as a nod to the host city, while also staying true to Macron’s fashion sensibility.
