Gal Gadot Wears Minimalist Open-Toed Mules at 2024 Israel Film Festival
More from Footwear News
Gal Gadot appeared at the 2024 Israel Film Festival earlier this week wearing a sleek pair of open-toe sandals.
Appearing at the Saban Theater, Gadot sported a beige open-toe silhouette with a slender tan strap across the rounded upper-toe box. While the rest of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely it’s likely the sandals were a closed-back model completed by a stiletto heel ranging between 3 and 4 inches based on the actress’ previous preferences.
The shoes were likely the pointed open-toe mule sandals in patent-effect fabric Intriigo stiletto heels by Giuseppe Zanotti. The shoes are available in gold, silver, black and white and retail for $795.
Her outfit was a sleekly styled brown oversized blazer, which sat overtop a sheer slip dress. Pulling her hair back into a simple ponytail, she kept her makeup neutral.
Strappy sandals are a footwear style that has been around for decades, dating back to the early 1900s and going through many variations over the years. Strappy sandals can come in many different forms, including peep-toe designs, and have been praised for their versatility and ability to work well with a variety of outfits.
Gadot was actually seen in a similar pair of sandals last year while attending the “Barbie” world premiere at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Wearing a pair of mules from Femme Los Angeles that came from Janis Tello’s vegan line, the shoes featured thin brown pointed-toe soles topped by clear curved toe straps, and were given a Barbie-worthy twist from thin pink stiletto heels totaling at least 4 inches in height.
She paired her sandals with a chocolate brown minidress from J.W. Anderson that hailed from the brand’s spring 2024 collection. The piece was an eye-catching one, featuring a sleeveless silhouette with a squared neckline and layered, folded-over skirt — all fully covered in thin white pinstripes.
Aside from J.W. Anderson, the actress counts Dior, Gucci and Chanel as some of her favorite luxury footwear designers, having been spotted wearing pairs from each over the years.
