Gayle King still has love for Megan Thee Stallion following the rapper admitting to lying to the CBS journalist during their 2022 interview. She also addressed Meg calling her a “bi**h” during the confession.

“Hey, I’m just sitting here, minding my own business, and people are reaching out to me saying, ‘Hey Gayle, Megan Thee Stallion just called you a bi**h,'” King, 69, shared via a clip posted to Instagram. “Well , I know you’re expecting me, or maybe you’re thinking I have something negative to say. I do not.”

“I have nothing but great, great love and respect for Megan Thee Stallion, and cheering her on always,” she shared before opening up the discussion to the upcoming Presidential election. See the clip yourself below.

While Megan previously admitted to lying to King about sleeping with Tory Lanez during their shooting trial, her new documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, found the beauty questioning why King would even ask about their intimate relationship.

“Yes, bi**h, I lied to Gayle King, bi**h,” Meg says within the doc. “First of all, I didn’t know that bi**h was gon’ even ask me about that shi*t, we supposed to be talking about this shooting, why is you asking me about f**king Tory?

“That’s not what this is about,” she went on. “Even if it was, I f**ked this ni**a like once, maybe twice, on a drunk night. Bi**h kept catching me out of my f**king mind.”

The lie followed Tory Lanez claiming his intimate encounters with Megan and her friend, Kelsey, played a part in the group’s argument that turned into the late-night shooting, resulting in Meg getting shot in the foot. Lanez was eventually found guilty of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
