General Hospital’s Adam Huss Is Grateful For Fans As He Portrays Nikolas
In the midst of General Hospital returns this month, Port Charles saw another familiar face back in action when Adam Huss reprised the role of Nikolas, and the actor shared his gratitude on social media.
The Nick Of Time
After learning Lulu is in need of a liver transplant, Laura’s (Genie Francis) first stop on the quest for a donor was Nikolas (Adam Huss), who went to prison earlier this year. The mother and son reminisced about the first time he was a donor for Lulu, when she needed a bone marrow transplant as a baby, and he assured her he would do anything for his sister.
As time ticks for Lulu, Laura and Nikolas learned he’s not eligible to be an organ donor, sending Laura off on a mission to find the next viable candidate: Lucky (Jonathan Jackson, who returned to GH last week).
Messages Of Love
In response to a fan raving about his latest performance as Nikolas and suggesting GH put the actor on contract, Huss took to X (formerly Twitter) with a message of gratitude for the GH fans.
“Thank you. I am honored. I am deeply passionate about playing #Nikolas and telling his story. So as I’ve said and will continue to say… all the love and encouragement means a hell of a lot to me. Not one post or message of love goes unappreciated. Please know that #GH fans!”

Huss first joined GH as Nikolas in 2021 as a temporary replacement for the character’s then-portrayer, Marcus Coloma. After Coloma held the role for four years and ended his run in 2023, Huss appeared as Nikolas on a recurring status until the character’s departure in March 2024.
With Jackson back as Laura’s other son, Lucky, and Lulu rumored to be recast, fans are hopeful their brother Nikolas isn’t far from a permanent return.
