General Hospital Alum Johnny Wactor Dead At 37
General Hospital alum Johnny Wactor has died. The actor who portrayed Brando Corbin was 37 years old.

TMZ reported that the actor was shot and killed early Sunday, May 26, in downtown Los Angeles. The actor’s mother, Scarlett, told the outlet that her son and somebody he worked with noticed three men messing with Wactor’s car around 3 am around Pico Boulevard and Hope Street. She said they were trying to steal the catalytic converter.
They allegedly shot and killed the actor, although he didn’t fight them. Currently, police have not released a description of those suspected of shooting Wactor. The actor’s mother hoped that they would be found quickly
Wactor started on GH in 2020 and appeared in more than 160 episodes of the popular ABC soap opera as Brando. Brando was married to Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and ultimately became the first victim who succumbed to The Hook. Wactor exited the soap in 2022.
He began acting in 2007 with several roles in the show Army Wives. Throughout his career, Watctor had more than 50 credits, with appearances on Criminal Minds, NCIS, Westworld, and other television series. Plus, roles in several shorts and films.
At the time of his death, Wactor also had upcoming credits in American Sognare, Tawny, and Nightmare Diaries.
Wactor is survived by his mother and his younger brothers, Lance and Grant. Soap Hub sends its deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans during this terrible time.
