Two popular actors are returning to the Port Charles scene. Jonathan Jackson, who originated the character of Lucky Spencer in 1993, is stepping back into his role as Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) son. Jackson made his last appearance on the soap in 2015. He’s set to debut later this summer, and the stint is said to be long-term.
Meanwhile, Bryan Craig, who was killed off as Morgan Corinthos in 2016, is resurrecting the popular character, albeit figuratively and briefly. Word is the actor will be back for one episode in August. Craig last aired as Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) son in 2018 in a vision.
On the exit front, Michael Easton announced that he has completed his run as Dr. Hamilton Finn via a video posted on Instagram. “I’ve always been partial to the Irish good-bye,” said Easton.. “That’s where you leave the party without actually telling anyone you’re gone. But I thought you all deserved better. So I just want to let you know that I just filmed my final scenes here at General Hospital.” Easton made his last appearance on the soap on June 27.
