General Hospital Spoilers Weekly Update: Guilt, Grief, And Going Missing
Spoilers for the week of August 19 – August 23, 2024 on General Hospital tease several people in Port Charles getting shocks after a week of the unexpected.

Episode 15527 AIR DATE: MONDAY, AUGUST 12, 2024
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) informed Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez, who said farewell to GH this week) about an opportunity to open for Miguel Morez (ex-Ricky Martin) on tour, but she turned it down to be with Kristina (Kate Mansi). When Natalia (Eva LaRue) found out, she begged Kristina to let her daughter go, so Kristina insisted Blaze go on tour. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) also visited Kristina to talk about bereavement, and when Kristina needed help with her IV, Willow decided to fix it, reminding her how much she loves nursing and prompting her to ask Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) for her job back. While Nina (Cynthia Watros) got her apartment ready for Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) visit, she confided in Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about her plan to keep Drew away from Willow. Carly (Laura Wright) got pulled to Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) new room at the Metro Court and was treated to dinner and drinks. But when Anna (Finola Hughes) found out the WSB agent secured himself a job in Port Charles, she confronted him in his room.
Episode 15528 AIR DATE: TUESDAY, AUGUST 13, 2024
Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Jason (Steve Burton) he plans on making Ava pay for what she did to his daughter and her baby. Kristina insisted Blaze go on the tour and ultimately broke up with her. When Natalia brought Blaze to the airport, she fired her mother as her manager. Ava (Maura West) was let out on bail and went to dinner at the Metro Court with Scott (Kin Shriner) and John (Adam Harrington), who let Ava in on his new plan to take down Sonny involving his pharmacist. Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Violet (Jophielle Love) had an adorable tea party and Tracy told her all about the Quartermaine family.
Episode 15529 AIR DATE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2024
Gio (Giovanni Mazza) revealed to Lois (Rena Sofer) and Brook Lynn that he was unsure if he’d gain exposure performing at Ava’s gallery now that she’s been arrested for manslaughter. Sonny came up with a new idea to put his money now that the new record label wasn’t happening, and offered to invest in Deception as long as they hired Natalia as CFO. Willow informed Michael (Chad Duell) and Drew that she plans to resign from the New Tomorrow Institute and return to nursing. At the park, James (Gary James Fuller) pouted over not being allowed to see Cody (Josh Kelly) so he ran off, forcing Maxie, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson, who revealed a special connection to two extras in this episode), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), and Mac (John J. York) to go searching for him. Tracy and Cody discussed Finn (ex-Michael Easton) over a game of backgammon. Michael gave Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) advice about her relationship with Cody and she decided to take it by finding him at the stables and pulling him into a kiss. That was when Maxie ran in looking for her son.
Episode 15530 AIR DATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 15, 2024
As he looked for Cody on the Q property, when he heard someone coming, James hid in the boathouse as Willow approached. Nina also showed up and Willow confided in her mom about her growing feelings for Drew while James overheard the whole thing. Once they left, James tried retrieving a frisbee from the lake and fell in. Meanwhile, Spinelli and Maxie went searching for the missing child while Felicia laid into Mac for causing James to run away. Later, Cody heard James calling for help from the water and dived in and saved him. Mac approached them just as James hugged Cody, saying he saved him. Sonny and Jason assured Lois (Rena Sofer) that Sonny’s new venture with Deception was legit, while Brook Lynn and Natalia tried convincing Tracy to take Sonny’s money, while Lucy (Lynn Herring) was immediately on board. Jason told Sonny that John and Scott were seen at Ava’s gallery, while Scott agreed to help John with his plan to take down Sonny, starting with getting Sonny’s pharmacist to hide out at Wyndemere.
Episode 15531 AIR DATE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 16, 2024
Before Scott could get the pharmacist to Wyndemere, Jason found him and he spilled all to Sonny’s righthand man. He not only told him that Ava was behind the placebos, but that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was who initially asked for the medication switch. Once John found out about Jason, he put a new plan into action, assuring Ava that the photos of Kristina’s accident could tell a different story. Meanwhile, Sonny explained to Kristina that he didn’t want Ava’s death on her conscience, while Molly, after not being fully present for the funeral planning with TJ (Tahj Bellow), vented to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about Kristina’s anger toward Ava being the reason she lost the baby. When Sonny wheeled Kristina out of the elevator to be discharged, John barged into GH and placed Kristina under arrest. After Cody rescued James, he found out he was allowed to see Cody again, and that was when Mac revealed that Cody is his son. Laura (Genie Francis) called Anna and Brennan to her office to discuss finding Valentin when she got a call about Lulu.
Week Ahead
Coming up in Port Charles, is Lulu’s return on the rise? Sonny and John will also face off after Kristina’s arrest, while female friendships become a common theme.
