The Gentlemen Season 2 – Netflix Greenlights New Season of Guy Ritchie’s Series
The three-time Emmy-nominated The Gentlemen is confirmed to return to Netflix as Variety reveals that the series has been renewed for season two.
Set in the same universe as his 2019 film of the same name, season one followed Theo James as Eddie Eddie Horniman, who inherits his father's country estate, where he discovers a cannabis empire is being run.
James was joined by co-stars Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Michael Vu, and Harry Goodwins in the eight-episode series from Emmy-nominated Guy Ritchie.
Filming on season two is set to commence in 2025, so it'll be a while before we see what happens next in the Horniman tale.
"With its gun-toting chickens and drug-dealing Dukes, ‘The Gentlemen’ was a huge hit with audiences in 2024. Not really a surprise as Guy Ritchie remains one of the industry's most iconic creators telling authentically British stories with his signature swagger, grit and wit," Netflix's UK content VP shared with Variety. "We are thrilled the series will be returning to Netflix for a second season, and cannot wait to see what happens when the worlds of old money and drug money collide once more."
Season two is set to also have eight episodes, with Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, and Daniel Ings set to reprise their roles.
Guy Ritchie also returns as director and writer, joined by co-writer Matthew Read.
