George Clooney 'recovering at his home' following motorcycle crash
George Clooney is on the mend following a scary motorcycle accident in Italy on Tuesday. A publicist for the actor tells Yahoo Entertainment that Clooney “was treated and released from an Olbia hospital. He is recovering at his home and will be fine.”
Clooney, 57, was riding his motorcycle in Sardinia, Italy, when a car suddenly pulled in front of him, throwing him from his bike. The actor’s helmet struck the car’s windshield, causing it to shatter and the helmet to break. The Money Monster star was going 60 mph and thrown 20 feet in the air, TMZ reports and his rep confirms.
Shortly after the wreck, paramedics arrived on the scene and Clooney was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Local newspaper La Nuova Sardegna reported that the actor was headed to a film set when the accident occurred.
This isn’t the first time Clooney has been involved in a motorcycle accident. In 2007, he and former girlfriend Sarah Larson were involved in a crash in New Jersey. He suffered a broken rib, and she broke her foot.
The incident has hardly kept Clooney from hopping back on his hog. In June, he was seen driving his wife, Amal, around Sardinia on his bike.
Plus every summer, Clooney and BFF Rande Gerber take a boys-only trip around the U.S.
5 days and 2,500 miles. There’s no road too long with friends.

We’ll see if that’s still in the cards this year now that the actor has 1-year-old twins at home.
