Georgie & Mandy’s First Wedding, the upcoming CBS multi-cam comedy spin-off of Young Sheldon, has cast its first roles outside of lead stars Montana Jordan and Emily Osment.

Will Sasso and Rachel Bay Jones will return as Mandy’s parents, Deadline has confirmed. Sasso and Jones play Jim and Audrey McAllister, respectively.

First appearing in Young Sheldon Season 6, Audrey is described as Mandy’s overbearing mother. She wants what’s best for her daughter, and she’s not convinced that Georgie is the right choice. In general, the character is fiercely protective and tends to believe she’s right.

Also making his first appearance in the sixth season of Young Sheldon, Jim is described as Mandy’s kind-hearted father. He’s often caught in the middle of the arguments between his daughter and his wife. When he’s not running a local tire store, he’s making an effort to help Georgie navigate marriage, parenthood, and his new family.

Jones is well-known for her role as Heidi Hansen in the Broadway cast of Dear Evan Hansen, which earned her a Tony, an Emmy, and a Grammy. On television, she’s appeared in The Good Doctor and Modern Family.

Sasso currently appears on the Apple TV+ limited series Acapulco. He’s also known for his time on MADtv, in addition to his roles on How I Met Your Mother and Less Than Perfect.
