GH’s Bradford Anderson Weighs In On ‘Spinelli The DJ’ And Tracy’s Twerking

Brook Lynn’s bachelorette party on General Hospital was full of surprises, from Olivia and Lois’ terrible dancing to Joss and Kristina’s catfight. But one of the biggest surprises of all came even to a character’s portrayer.

Not The Stripper

When everyone realized Lois (Rena Sofer) had forgotten to book someone to supply the party with music on the April 23, 2024 episode, an unexpected moment of comedic relief ensued when in walked Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). “Please tell me that’s not the stripper,” Lois quipped.

Spinelli later assured everyone he was there as the DJ for the night, telling Maxie (Kirsten Storms) – who may or may not be his girlfriend – that his playlist was a hit at Bruce Cooperman’s bar mitzvah the previous week. He also became the photographer for the photo booth, and later let loose on the dance floor, announcing, “What I lack in ability, I make up for in commitment!”

Spinelli’s New Passion?

On the latest episode of Daily Drama, Bradford Anderson weighed in on his character’s new career. “I didn’t know Spinelli was a DJ,” he admitted. The actor continued, “I did a bar mitzvah the week before, so evidently, I’m the DJ for hire.”

When his cohost and co-star Steve Burton, who recently revealed a moment when he almost walked off the GH set, asked if DJing is a passion for Spinelli, Anderson agreed that was a good question. The actor also revealed some behind-the-scenes tidbits, including how Bruce Cooperman, whose bar mitzvah Spinelli apparently DJed, is actually the name of one of GH’s cameramen.

Twerk It, Tracy!

Anderson later gave some insight into other scenes from the bachelorette party, like Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) memorable moment on the dance floor. “The first thing she does is turn around and shakes her butt, right to camera,” he recalled before the two actors referred to Elliot as “the best.”

Anderson also told their listeners that if you look closely behind Kristina (Kate Mansi, who recently got candid about her endometriosis journey) during her fight with Joss (Eden McCoy), you can catch Anderson doing a line dance with Elliot, Tabyana Ali, Amanda Setton, Kirsten Storms, and others.
