Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas Embrace Their New Celebrity Couple Name

While it’s not recommended to say “Brangelina” in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s presence, Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid are down with their celebrity couple nickname.

The singer/former purity ring wearer, 25, and the model, 20, grabbed lunch together in West Hollywood on Tuesday while wearing similar outfits: white tops and black bottoms. All pretty basic until you read Gigi’s shirt and see that it says “G.I.” as she walked next to Joe.

The pair, who started dating in late May, were first dubbed “G.I. Joe” by Cara Delevingne just a day before. The Paper Towns star posted a photo of the them in a helicopter with an explosion of emojis and the words, “Introducing G.I. JOE.”

Immediately, it was dubbed the Best. Celebrity. Couple. Name. Ever. Apparently Gigi agrees.

We’re not sure why Joe didn’t get in on the fun and wear a shirt with his name on it — or a plain white shirt — while Gigi rocked the tee. But just look at the furry coat he’s wearing in the other photo. His fashion decisions in general don’t make a lot of sense to us.

Now that Gigi and Joe have a cool couple nickname they like, they just need to stay together. Need we remind you what happened to TomKat, Zanessa, and — fresh tears over this one — Bennifer 2?
