'The Gilded Age' picks up 6th Emmy nomination

NEWPORT – HBO drama series "The Gilded Age" picked up six Emmy Award nominations Wednesday, not the five that were initially reported.

Initial reports had the Julian Fellowes period drama garnering nods for Best Drama Series, Best Actress in a Drama Series, Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, Outstanding Production Design for a narrative period or fantasy program (one hour or more), and Outstanding Period Costumes for a series.

But, when the official list came out from the television academy, "The Gilded Age" had also been nominated for Outstanding Period Or Fantasy/Sci-Fi Hairstyling.
