'Gilmore Girls' Hunks We Can’t Get Enough Of
One of the most-debated topics about Gilmore Girls is which team are you when it comes to the guys of Stars Hollow. Do you prefer the bad guy with a sensitive heart, like Jess and Tristan? Or is it a sweet boy, like Dean, who you root for?
Whether you like one of them more than the other, everyone can agree that all of the guys on Gilmore Girls are considered hunk status, so here we’ve rounded up our favorites from the show. From Luke to Logan and even Richard, these are our top Gilmore Girls hunks!
1. Scott Patterson as Luke Danes
If it’s not the plaid flannel, backwards baseball cap or grumpy personality that makes you join Team Luke, then it’s probably how he fell in love with Lorelai Gilmore that turns you. When Luke says things like “I’m all in,” fans of the series can’t help but swoon, but he also has all the qualities everyone wants — he cares for Rory (Alexis Bledel)like a father, he treats Lorelai like a princess, and he feeds both of their coffee addictions. And his good looks certainly don’t hurt.
2. Milo Ventimiglia as Jess Mariano
The moment that Jess stepped off the bus in season 2, episode 5, everyone knew they were in for it. While Dean had won us over, Jess stole everyone’s heart with just the few lines he chose to speak. Yes, he was the bad boy and not always the best boyfriend, but you can’t say you didn’t fall for Jess while you watched his feelings grow for Rory Gilmore.
3. Matt Czuchry as Logan Huntzberger
Logan might have been a pain when he first appeared on Gilmore Girls, but it didn’t take long for everyone to fall in love with him. The wealthy Logan Huntzberger didn’t stop when it came to getting what he wanted and when he wanted Rory, he got her. Although he had to prove himself a few times, he soon became a fan-favorite. This Gilmore Girls hunk had all of us from the very moment he stepped on the screen.
4. Jared Padalecki as Dean Forester
As the first of Rory’s boyfriends, Dean was also one of the first Gilmore Girls hunks and everyone loved him. His sweetness towards Rory only intensified that, helped by the fact that he was easy on the eyes. Although their relationship eventually went down the drain, Dean always had a place in our hearts.
5. David Sutcliffe as Christopher Hayden
Even though Christopher wasn’t the kindest character, fans couldn’t help themselves when he appeared on screen. Christopher, who eventually became Lorelai’s husband and then ex-husband, had that bad-boy persona and eventually grew up and became just what Lorelai needed. Although he had a streak for ruining her relationships, everyone always had a soft spot for Christopher.
6. Chad Michael Murray as Tristan Dugray
Tristan Dugray — need we say more? Portrayed by Chad Michael Murray, Tristan was the original bad boy on the show. Even though he wasn’t exactly sweet, Tristan knew just what to say to make everyone love him more. It was sad for fans when he left the series early on, but he remained a fan-favorite.
7. Edward Herrmann as Richard Gilmore
Of course Richard Gilmore is on this list! Most of the time, he was the stern, quiet man at the end of the dinner table, but he won all of us over with his charm and obvious love for his family. Although he and Emily can seem cruel at times, their love for one another makes us love him even more. Who can say that they didn’t love when Richard appeared on their screens mixing up a cocktail or playing a round of golf?
8. Scott Cohen as Max Medina
As soon as Max Medina left a sweet voicemail to Lorelai that started, “It’s Max, Medina. Maaaax Medina,” we were done. As Rory’s teacher, fans were concerned about his blossoming relationship with Lorelai, but when it turned into an engagement, they seemed perfect for each other. Of course, Lorelai decided to leave him the night before their wedding, but the Chilton teacher was a good addition to the series and certainly one of the Gilmore Girls hunks.
9. Yanic Truesdale as Michel Gerard
Sure, Michel wasn’t exactly a people person, but when he showed his soft side it was clear he belonged in Stars Hollow. Not only did he really care for Lorelai and Sookie (deep, deep down) but he always wanted to be a part of The Dragonfly Inn team and made it clear. Plus, the French accent! You can’t possibly have a list of Gilmore Girls hunks without Michel on it.
