Gina Rodriguez Beats Wilmer Valderrama With En Vogue Performance on 'Lip Sync Battle'
Gina Rodriguez and Wilmer Valderrama squared off against each other on Thursday’s Lip Sync Battle. The That ’70s Show star decided to keep his music selection in the 1990’s by performing to Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca” and Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody.” While Valderrama’s dance moves were on point, his lip-sync skills were lacking a bit. On a scale of A.J. McLean to Nick Carter, we’d say his performance was Howie D.
Rodriguez, on the other hand, completely killed her two performances. For her warm-up she did Lil Wayne’s “A Milli,” and brought down the house. She followed that up by rocking out to En Vogue’s “Free Your Mind.”
Ultimately, Valderrama just didn’t stand a chance at beating Rodriguez, as the audience made the results pretty clear cut. Rodriguez may be Jane the Virgin, but she’s also a lip-sync champion.
Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
