Gisele Bündchen Reveals She Learned English by Listening to Boyz II Men
Gisele Bündchen is turning the tables on her English teachers.
In a clip from her Carpool Karaoke episode with Boyz II Men (shared exclusively with PEOPLE), the Brazilian supermodel, 38, got a chance to tell Boyz II Men that she learned English by listening to their music.
“So I moved to New York City when I was 16 years old. I didn’t speak a word of English,” she tells the band in the clip. “But my sister, she was like ‘Here, take my cassette.’ The cassette tape she made for me, one side was Boyz II Men, the other side was Mariah [Carey].”

As a teen, Bündchen says she traveled around the city with her Walkman glued to her side. “I would literally be with this Walkman all day. I was like, ‘I’m gonna learn English and that’s it!’ I have to say, you guys were my teachers so thank you,” she says in the video.
