GloRilla Dances Through Wardrobe Malfunction In 2024 VMA Performance
GloRilla powered through a wardrobe malfunction like a pro at the 2024 Video Music Awards, performing at the annual event on the main stage for the first time. Surrounded by dancers, flames, and an abundance of cash, she delivered her club-ready tracks “Yeah Glo!” and “TGIF.”
With fun choreography and a costuming switch-up, the Memphis rapper had a slight mishap with her top. While hitting chair choreography, the 25-year-old’s bralette almost came completely off. Despite the nearly NSFW moment, GloRilla continued to hit her marks, making her way to a different section of the stage.
Once a dancer noticed her top was unsnapped in the back, they quickly two-stepped to her side, fixing the problem without missing a beat.
Earlier this year, GloRilla issued the mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang, which features the “Yeah Glo!” anthem. “TGIF” was dropped as a loose single afterward and will likely be featured on the rapper’s debut album. She revealed to ET at the 2024 VMAs that the album is dropping in October 2024, and that she is still crossing her fingers for a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé.
“Gotti told me don’t get comfortable. Keep your foot on the gas,” she explained to VIBE of advice from her CMG The Label boss. “The moment you let up, everything will just go downhill…it’s about consistency and who can have longevity. That’s success.”
