GloRilla earns Grammy nominations for Best Rap Song and Performance for 'Yeah Glo!'
Memphis hip-hop star GloRilla will be going for Grammy gold once again.
The 25-year-old Frayser-bred rapper — born Gloria Woods — was among the nominees announced Friday morning for the 67th annual Grammy awards.
GloRilla and her song "Yeah Glo!" were nominated in the Best Rap Performance category. She will face some stiff competition for the award, as she goes up against Cardi B for "Enough (Miami)", Common & Pete Rock featuring Posdnuos for "When The Sun Shines Again," Doechii for "Nissan Altima", Eminem for "Houdini," Metro Boomin featuring Kendrick Lamar for "Like That" and Lamar on his own for "Not Like Us."
GloRilla and "Yeah Glo!" received a second nomination in the Best Rap Song category, "Yeah Glo" is again in another tough category, going up against “Asteroids” by Rapsody featuring Hit-Boy, “Carnival” by Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign featuring Rich The Kid & Playboi Carti, “Like That” by Future & Metro Boomin featuring Kendrick Lamar and “Not Like Us” and by Lamar.

It marks the second and third Grammy nominations for GloRilla. In 2022, she and her producer Hitkidd were nominated for the breakthrough anthem, “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)," as Best Rap Performance. They ultimately lost the award to Kendrick Lamar.
The Grammy recognition caps what’s been another big year for GloRilla, who has become one of the fastest-rising stars in rap.
In September, she was nominated for four awards at the annual MTV Video Music Awards and performed at the ceremonies in New York City.
A month later, GloRilla released her full-length debut LP, “Glorious,” which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard charts, and earned nearly 80 million streams in its first week.
The 67th annual Grammy ceremonies will take place Feb. 2 in Los Angeles.
