GloRilla took the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards to school with the first TV performance of her latest drill track “Cha Cha Cha.”

Dressed in a red track suit, the Memphis star and her backup dancers gave an energetic rendition of the Ganagst Art 2 track, which samples Nas’ 2000 hit “Oochie Wally” and DJ Casper’s Cha-Cha slide.

As Big Glo showed the crowd how to hit the instructional moves mentioned in the song, Fivio Foreign joined her on stage to give an authentic feel to the NY-sound.

The CMG signee dropped the video to “Cha Cha Cha” last month, where she took it to the Big Apple to get sturdy, hit the basketball courts and post up in front of the bodega.

The video received a bit of backlash when the Grammy-nominated rapper posted a photo of her throwing up a “rakes” hand gesture that was declared to be a gang sign, according to social media. Following the intense feedback, Glo apologized for not knowing what her gesture was signifying.

“I thought he was telling me to throw up his gang I did not know what it meant until after we took da picture,” the “F.N.F.” rapper wrote on Facebook on Saturday (Sept. 16).

Aside from the “Tomorrow 2” rhymer’s set, she was also nominated for six awards including: Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Collaboration, Song of The Year, Hip-Hop Album Of The Year, Hip-Hop Artist of The Year and Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse.
