GloRilla Unveils ‘Glorious’ Album Release Date & Cover Art: ‘So Grateful to Be Sharing This’
GloRilla wants to put a stamp on her banner year with the announcement of her upcoming debut album Glorious on Thursday (Sept. 19).
Big Glo is following her Ehhthang Ehhthang EP with her official debut LP slated to arrive on Oct. 11, and its latest single “Hollon” set to come out at midnight on Friday (Sept. 20). “GLORIOUS da album dropping 10/11 So grateful to be sharing this with y’all and as a little treat I’m blessing y’all with HOLLON tonight at midnight,” she wrote. “AYEEEEE.”

The project’s artwork shows Glo channeling ’90s R&B vibes while charging her face card and rocking shiny gold hoop earrings. Megan Thee Stallion, Anycia, Lakeyah and more of her peers showed love in Glo’s comment section.
Fans were equally excited about the album announcement as GloRilla looks to take over October’s spooky season. “Finna gone change my Profile picture dis mf it,” one person wrote, with another fan adding, “WE UPPPPPP TS FINNA BE SO FYE.”
The Memphis rapper has been a Billboard Hot 100 staple in 2024 with the arrival of hits like “Yeah Glo!,” “TGIF” and the Megan Thee Stallion-assisted “Wanna Be.” The latter two are still holding strong in the top 40 of the chart at No. 34 and No. 40 respectively.
Other highlights from Glo’s 2024 include serving as an opener on Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour, which wrapped up in June, and stopping by the White House to meet with President Joe Biden in March.
