Going Dutch: Denis Leary Oversees the ‘Least Important’ Military Base in New Fox Comedy — Watch First Trailer
Denis Leary’s big mouth is about to land him in a Fox-ton of trouble.
The network’s upcoming comedy series Going Dutch stars Leary as U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Quinn, an “arrogant loudmouth” who gets reassigned to the Netherlands following “epically unfiltered rant.” There, he’s put in charge of the “least important army base in the world.” We’re talking “no guns, no weapons and to tactical purpose.”

But what the base lacks in military usefulness, it more than makes up for in charm, with a “Michelin Star-level commissary, top notch bowling alley, lavender-infused laundry and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Army.”
Tasked with whipping these “military misfits” into shape, Colonel Quinn is assisted by the base’s previous interim leader… who also happens to be his estranged daughter, played by Taylor Misiak (Dave).
In addition to Leary and Misiak, Going Dutch also stars Danny Pudi (Community), Laci Mosely (iCarly) and Hal Cumpston (The Walking Dead: World Beyond). Heavily recurring guests include Joe Morton (Scandal), Catherine Tate (Doctor Who) and Dempsey Bryk (Willow).
Leary also executive-produces the series, alongside Jack Leary and showrunner Joel Church-Cooper.
Going Dutch is set to premiere in January 2025, with an exact date still TBD. Hit PLAY on the teaser above for your first look at Leary’s new Fox series, then drop a comment with your thoughts below. Will you report for viewing duty next year?
