Joan Kicks Off Hometown Dates With Guy in Nevada
Joan traveled to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, to spend time with Guy Gansert for the first hometown date of the episode. They started their date by taking a boat ride, where Guy admitted he was fearful to share his feelings for Joan in case their romance didn't work out.
Following their boat ride, Guy and Joan visited his family in Reno, Nevada. She was introduced to his children, grandson, sisters and brothers, and Joan quickly hit it off with them as she recapped their dates.

Joan then sat down with Guy's sisters and her sons, who expressed their approval of her. However, one son expressed concerns about Guy potentially ending the show with a broken heart.
The date ended on a hopeful note, and Guy got emotional as he admitted he could see Joan being part of his family. He then told Joan that he had "fallen for" her, and Joan admitted she felt "closer" to him after their hometown date.
Joan Goes on First Hometown Date in Chicago With Pascal
Two of Joan's suitors live in Chicago, and her first hometown date in the city was with Pascal Ibgui. "I'm in charge today. I like to be in charge," Pascal said while explaining his plans for the day.
The date began with Pascal taking Joan to his salon. He said he was "extremely proud" to show her his business, and he even encouraged her to shampoo a client's hair. Joan then got the "VIP" experience and was pampered by Pascal's employees.
Following their salon visit, Joan got to meet Pascal's three kids, his grandson and his friends. His son, Maxim, he said that he believed his dad was ready to settle down and he would "really like" if Joan was the right person for him.
While speaking to his daughter Natalie, Joan admitted she was worried that Pascal wouldn't accept her in the end. However, Natalie insisted that her father appeared happier than ever and she saw a future with them together.
Joan Explores Chicago With Jordan
Joan's second date in Chicago was with Jordan Heller. Before she met up with Jordan, Joan explained that they had a "slower" time building their connection and was looking forward to getting to know him better.
The pair explored the heart of Chicago and enjoyed a piece of cake and a shot before they went to meet his family. Shortly after she met his family including his daughters, Joan poked fun at Jordan's iceskating skills from their previous date.
Jordan admitted to one daughter that he wasn't in a place to tell Joan that he loves her, while another daughter explained that he leads "with humor" because he's scared to be vulnerable.
The date ended with Joan admitting she was "confused" about where Jordan stood in their relationship, and she said she's really "nervous" about the decisions she needs to make before the rose ceremony.
Joan Meets Chock's Family in Kansas
The final hometown date was in Wichita, Kansas, with Chock Chapple. He told Joan that she would be meeting his father, his two kids and his late fiancée Kathy's father. While Chock admitted he was sad she wouldn't be able to meet his mother, who died earlier in the season, he said that they would pay tribute to her in a special way.
Several of Chock's family members and friends planted a tree in his mother's honor. Chock said it meant a lot to him for Joan to be there for the special moment, and he even called her his "rock."
Joan continued to get to spend quality time with Chock's family and quickly earned their approval. Meanwhile, Kathy's father, Tom, said he had never seen Chock be as affectionate with anyone else other than his daughter. "You're family if you want to be," Tom told Joan following their conversation.
During a conversation with his father, he told Chock that he could tell he was in love with Joan. "There's love there," he said, encouraging Chock to not put armor up with Joan.
Joan Sends 1 Suitor Home
Going into the rose ceremony, Joan admitted she wasn't "confident" in all of her relationships. After noting that Chock and Guy seem committed to her, she said she's not sure where Pascal and Jordan stand.
She ultimately decided to send Jordan home. Joan walked him out and said she "loved getting to know" him.
The episode then ended with Joan telling the remaining suitors that they were traveling to Tahiti. All three men expressed their excitement over the trip, as well as their happiness that they get to spend more time with Joan.
