Goldie Hawn’s Lookalike Granddaughter Is ‘So Much’ Like Her in ‘Effortlessly Cool’ Photo
While Goldie Hawn is known for her effortless charm, it seems like her granddaughter inherited it as well, with fans seeing a strong resemblance in a new photo.
On Aug. 28, Hawn's son Oliver Hudson, whom she shares with ex-husband Bill Hudson, shared a new snap of himself and his 11-year-old daughter Rio in the car. He and wife Erinn Bartlett share Rio, along with sons Wilder and Bodhi.
Oliver sat in the front seat staring at the camera while Rio flashed a casual peace sign as she lounged in the back in a camouflage outfit, with the caption reading, "First day of school with Oliver Hudson who forgot to wear sunblock whilst spending 10 hours on the ocean!Oh and Rio’s here too…"
Fans couldn't help but point out how much Rio looked like her grandmother after seeing the new photo.
"She looks like your mom??," said one fan, while more echoed this statement, writing, "She looks SO much like Goldie!" and "Mini Goldie in your back seat ?? ????."
Others shared appreciation for Rio's facial expression and relaxed demeanor, such as one who replied, "Rio so effortlessly cool ??."
"Her expression ??," said another, as a different fun comment read, "Rio’s side eye is ??."
"Ha! She’s already reached the age where she’s totally judging you. ??????," wrote someone else.
Along with Rio, Hawn also has another granddaughter named Rani, whom her daughter, actress Kate Hudson, shares with her current partner, Danny Fujikawa. Like Rio, Rani also often gets compared to her grandmother.
Rio's parents first met in the 1990s during an acting class they had together, but they were friends for a while before starting a romantic relationship.
Oliver proposed to Bartlett in 2004 and the two got married in Mexico in 2006. Wilder, their oldest child, was born the next year, with Bodhi following in 2010 and Rio in 2013.
