'GoT' Recap: Stark Reunion, Greyjoy Reunion, Fire Reunion
The night was long and full of reunions on Game of Thrones, as Sansa Stark finally made it to The Wall to see her half-brother, and former dead person, Jon Snow. After talking about the good ol’ days and choking down a Night’s Watch ale, Jon and Sansa received a letter from Ramsay Bolton demanding that Jon return the new Warden of the North’s bride to Winterfell. Sansa was willing to go back to her home, but she wanted Jon and the wildlings to go down with her and take back Winterfell from Ramsay.
That wasn’t the only family reunion, though. Theon Greyjoy finally returned to the Iron Islands, where his father had recently died. Theon was greeted by his sister, who was disgusted by her brother’s weakness and thought he was there to claim the throne.
The best reunion of the episode was when Daenerys reunited with the fire. The Mother of Dragons told the Dothraki leaders that they would no longer lead the Dothraki army and that she would be their leader now. When they all laughed at her and threatened to rape her, she burned the building down with all of them in it, including herself. Just like the Season 1 finale, Daenerys walked away from the fire unharmed and unclothed, only this time with thousands of Dothraki there to witness it.
