Will & Grace revival renewed for third season ahead of first season finale

Season 2 premieres Thurs., Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. ET. *NBC renewed the series through season 3 in March.
Will, Grace, Karen, and Jack aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Ahead of the April 5 season finale of the Will & Grace, creator Max Mutchnik let slip some rather surprising news about the future of the series. Of course, NBC announced in August that the revived series would be getting a 13-episode second season. But Sunday, at Paleyfest in Los Angeles, Mutchnik revealed that the series would be getting a third go-round, presumably to premiere in fall 2019, with an additional five episodes to boot.
