Grandchildren of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn coming to CSRA

JOHNSTON, S.C. (WJBF)- This weekend, the grandchildren of country music legends Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn will perform in Johnston.

“Twitty and Lynn” is a country music duo made up of Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn.

During their “Salute to Conway and Loretta” tour, they pay homage to their iconic grandparents, performing songs like “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.”

The two don’t mimic their grandparents in voice or in appearance, but the resemblances are undeniable.

Tayla Lynn said it means a lot to her to work with Tre and honor their grandparents’ music.

“I cry just about every show, just from gratitude. When there is an audience out there loving our grandparents enough to come see us sing these songs, and we’re singing them and doing the best that we can to honor them. And people are liking it. There’s no better reward than that,” she explained.

“Twitty and Lynn” will be in concert this Friday, September 20 at Three Star Vineyard and Orchard in Johnston. It is an outdoor event. Gate opens at 5:00 p.m. and entertainment begins at 7:00 p.m., rain or shine. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather. Ponchos allowed.

Food trucks and bar available on site. No outside food or drinks will be allowed.

Tickets will be available at gate.
