What the Green Bay Packers wore when they arrived to Corinthians Arena in S?o Paulo, Brazil
The Green Bay Packers are kicking off their season in style.
A couple hours before game time, Packers.com shared a photo gallery of the team in what they were wearing when they arrived to Corinthians Arena in S?o Paulo, Brazil. The Packers also posted a handful of 'em to Instagram.
Friday will mark the league's first-ever game in South America, when the Pack takes on the Philadelphia Eagles. This will also be both teams' 2024 regular season opener.
While some of the players kept it casual in Packers apparel, others sported fits fit for the runway. Here were a few of our favorite looks. The whole gallery can be found here.
Jordan Love and Edgerrin Cooper sport black monochromatic ensembles
Both quarterback Jordan Love and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper gave their own spins to the classic monochromatic, all-black ensemble. Here's to hoping the Eagles will be the ones mourning a loss later this evening, though.
With the season looking so bright, Love needed some shades — Prada perhaps? He wore a light, short-sleeve blazer with a plain shirt underneath and trousers with a textured belt. Simple gold chains — one with a cross — hung from his neck and around his wrist.
One Instagram user commented: "JLove got a stylist now." "I think that’s spelled fiancé," another responded. This was in reference to Love proposing to his longtime girlfriend Ronika Stone during the offseason.
Cooper donned a black short-sleeve button down splattered with a white graffiti-esque pattern and faded black-grey jeans. The accessories were the cherry on top: A bright red Goyard duffle, a short chain and a watch.
Xavier McKinney dons embellished pants, long-sleeve graphic tee and checkered button down in Packers colors
Embellished black pants. Funky black belt. White long-sleeve graphic tee. Short-sleeve checkered button down (in Packers colors, may we add). Chunky shoes. Black shades. And, a necklace.
That's what safety Xavier McKinney was serving up today. It may sound like a lot — and at first glance, it kind of is — but it was clearly done with intention and he totally worked it.
Lukas Van Ness dripped out in AMIRI
It appears that defensive end Lukas Van Ness was dripped out in AMIRI.
He sported what looks to be a blue-ish AMIRI baseball jersey featuring a muted ornate bandana pattern. A cream shade in the jersey color matched his AMIRI cap. His white undershirt and white sneakers were broken up by black slacks, but tied into the hat's white logo.
Matt Orzech's shirt was oh so tropical
When in Brazil! Long snapper Matt Orzech wore a super tropical and colorful Hawaiian shirt. Yet, he kept it comfy with olive joggers and Old Skool black-and-white Vans.
