Greta Lee Looks Like an Angel in Custom Loewe at the Emmys

Whichever red carpet Greta Lee decides to grace her presence with, fun is sure to follow. The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony was no different.
On Sunday evening, the Oscar-nominated actor headed to the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, joining a bevy of other A-list stars for the 2024 television award show. Lee—who is known for her sophisticated and quirky approach to style—delivered a knockout fashion statement in a custom Loewe look.
The angelic dress, made of gauzy white lace, featured fabric draped into a rolled collar around her neck. She paired the elegant look with tanzanite and diamond jewelry by Tiffany & Co. and strappy silver heels.
Tonight, Lee joins Christine Baranski, Elizabeth Debicki, and Lesley Manville as one of several nominees in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series—her first-ever Emmy nomination. She is being recognized for her performance as Stella Bak in Apple TV+’s The Morning Show.
During an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s September 2023 issue, Lee reflected on what’s next for her after starring in Celine Song’s critically acclaimed film Past Lives.
“This movie is so important to me. It’s evidence that we’re not headed to a certain place; we’re actually just here. This is the reality. Even the idea of what makes an American movie—it can be this. It doesn’t take anything away from anyone else. You can tell a really universal story that just makes sense to people,” she said. “And so that’s in my mind, in terms of what I want to do next and how to continue to make material and be part of things where it can be about someone who looks like me, but it isn’t like this bespoke tiny identity piece or something that’s way over here for an audience that’s way over here. Because I’m really not interested in doing that.”
