Guy Fieri Is 'So Proud' of Son Ryder as He Embarks on 'New Journey' in Emotional Photos

Guy Fieri's son, Ryder, has embarked on a new journey—and in photos of the milestone moment, the Food Network star declared he was "so proud" of his youngest child.

On Monday, Aug. 26, the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives personality took to Instagram with a carousel of pictures of himself and his wife, Lori, dropping off Ryder at college.

"It was a wild weekend moving @_ryderfieri into the dorms at @sandiegostateuniversity!!" the doting dad captioned his update. "It hasn’t fully hit us yet, but not seeing him everyday is gonna be hard."

In the post, Guy included photos of Ryder's dorm room and a time-lapse video of them setting up everything in his new space away from home.

Guy noted that Ryder has a "cool" roommate named Hunter (who shares Ryder's older brother's name). Additionally, the celebrity chef shared that SDSU is "really great and supportive to their students" and Ryder is "fired up."

"So proud of you Ryder," the foodie concluded. "Good luck!!"

In the comments, Guy's followers had difficulty comprehending how Ryder could already be a college student. One person wrote, "How can he be in college??? He’s still that lil 12-13 yr old shy boy that would appear on GGG periodically??."

Another Instagram user commented, "Ryder is in college… where does the time go. Congratulations on your new journey..," while a different fan echoed, "They grow up so fast ????."

Meanwhile, someone else pointed out, "Imagine being the roommate of Guy Fieri’s son," adding, "The snack game in there better be top tier! Go get em Ryder. The world awaits you. ??."
