Guy Fieri Snaps Selfie With Sons Hunter and Ryder Commemorating Major Life Achievement

Guy Fieri and his two sons shared a sweet selfie as they celebrated a major achievement in their family.
The celebrity chef’s younger son, Ryder, posted the selfie as the first of several photos in an Instagram carousel published on Thursday, June 6. In the photo, Guy, 56, stretched his arm out to take the picture as he posed between Ryder, 18, and Hunter, 27. Guy wore his trademark sunglasses and a leather jacket as he stood on the edge of a crowded indoor basketball court with his two kids.
“Senior year in the books??????,” Ryder wrote in his Instagram caption. Other photos in his 10-part carousel included snapshots of Ryder playing lacrosse, posing with his teammates and snapping pics with his parents and brother while wearing his high school team’s uniform.
Friends and fans of the younger Fieri left comments on his Instagram post congratulating him on reaching the major life milestone. “Congratulations Ryder, look out world ??,” one person wrote as another noted it marked the “start of a new era.”
The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host later proudly shared the carousel’s opening selfie as an Instagram Story on his own account.
Now that high school is over for Guy’s youngest son, college awaits. The Food Network star told People last month that, while Ryder was admitted into “every” college he applied to, he ultimately decided to study hospitality at San Diego State University in San Diego, Calif., a campus that the Fieris took time to tour before Ryder made the big decision. The teen intends to get the most out of college, which his father said includes living with roommates.
"He wants the whole experience,” Guy told the magazine.
