Guy Fieri's Family Beach Vacation Celebrating Son Ryder's Graduation Gives Fans FOMO

Guy Fieri gave fans major FOMO (fear of missing out) with the slew of vacation photos he and his sons shared on June 13 and 14 on social media.

The celebrity chef celebrated his youngest son’s graduation from high school with his family while enjoying a beach getaway. Ryder, 18, graduated from high school last week and will soon start the next chapter of his education at a college in San Diego, Calif.

But first, the Fieri family escaped the hustle and bustle of their daily routines to spend time at the beach. Although Guy, 56, didn’t identify where his family vacationed in the series of photos and videos he shared on Instagram Stories, the content showed them in a place where tourists could observe—and even touch and feed—stingrays as they swam close to shore.

“Been raining all week on @_ryderfieri’s graduation vacation but we got a little break today! Feeding the stingrays is crazy!!” the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host wrote to caption one Instagram Story shared on Friday, June 14. The video showed a bunch of stingrays swarming around a group of people gathered beside a boat resting on the shore of a sandy beach.

Another image that Ryder, 18, shared on Instagram Stories showed a close-up view of the college graduate’s father as he crouched beside the water’s edge and stuck his hand out to touch one of the sea creatures.

Screenshots of additional Instagram Stories from the trip shared by one fan on X, formerly Twitter, showed Guy and his older son crouching down to feed the stingrays. Guy and Hunter, 27, stood ankle-deep in the clear water while waiting for the stingrays to approach them.

The Fieri family shared their FOMO-filled images just days after Guy told the world he was “so proud” of Ryder for reaching one of life’s major milestones as he accepted his high school diploma.

“Wow what a great high school career!! 3.7 GPA, basketball for 4 years and lacrosse senior year,” the proud father wrote in a June 8 Instagram post that featured Guy, his two sons and his wife, Lori. “Love you son!"
