Gwyneth Paltrow Keeps Empty Bottle of Mom Blythe Danner's Perfume in Her Bathroom: 'It Still Smells Like Her'

The discontinued bottle of Quadrille by Balenciaga sits among Paltrow's many fragrances

Gwyneth Paltrow loves to keep mom Blythe Danner close when she can.

The Iron Man star, 51, proved just that when she walked Allure through her bathroom in a TikTok posted on April 25. Not only did she show off her Emmy that she keeps stashed in a corner of the room, but also a sentimental nod to her mother.

"I'm a person that really loves scent, and I'm really transported by it," she said while showing off a massive wall of fragrances. "This is the perfume my mom used to have. It's discontinued. It's Quadrille by Balenciaga, and I keep this little empty bottle because it still smells like her from when I was a little girl."

Paltrow showed the tiny bottle to the camera, and only a few drops were still inside, and it was easy to see that she truly was transported to another time in her life the moment she took the cap off.

Paltrow's luxurious bathroom also includes a secluded patio area where she likes to "come and read" after dipping into her sauna, which is right next door. She said her sauna was one of the best investments she made in her bathroom area and she spends 20-30 minutes in there every other day.

In her bathroom proper, you'll find plenty of Goop products (of course), but the brand founder jokes she can "almost never" be bothered to do her hair, despite having a bevy of flat irons, brushes and tools to get the job done.

As much as Paltrow loves keeping her mom close by with scent memory, she keeps her own daughter, Apple Martin, close by with her style choices. The two had an adorable twinning moment last August when they wore matching Hunter rainboots (and similar outfits!) for a day out in cloudy weather.

While Paltrow rocked a pair of green and white shorts with her white top, Martin, 19, chose a floaty off-white dress in a similar aesthetic for their outing. They both rocked their knee-high green boots and similar joyful looks for the 'gram!
