Gwyneth Paltrow reveals an unbelievable fact about her daughter Apple
On Thursday’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that her 17-year-old daughter, Apple Martin, is quite unfamiliar with Paltrow's work. Despite winning an Oscar for her performance in Shakespeare in Love, and starring in the box-office-blazing Marvel Cinematic Universe as Iron Man’s main squeeze, Pepper Potts, Paltrow is just mom when it comes to her kids.
“She has not seen me in a movie,” Paltrow revealed. “I think I never, like, did or didn't show them myself in a film but I just sort of didn't and then I think now they think it's kind of weird. They like me kind of in jeans, making them snacks. Like, they think that whole famous part of me is sort of weird.”
Paltrow also revealed which one of her many successful films she would most like to watch with her daughter.
“Probably, I think she would like The Royal Tenenbaums,” Paltrow said. “That's what I would show her.”
Wes Anderson's The Royal Tenenbaums is a somewhat surprising choice because it is one of Paltrow's less successful films, only grossing $71 million at the box office. That being said, it was critically acclaimed and remains popular as a cult classic.
Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen airs Sunday-Thursday at 11 p.m. on Bravo.
