Gwyneth Paltrow Weighs in on Why Brad Pitt Always Looks Like His Girlfriends

That people begin to dress like their significant others after they've been dating for long enough isn't an urban myth. And don't just take it from me and my boyfriend in our matching Dr. Martens — take it from Gwyneth Paltrow herself, who finally weighed in on the fact that Brad Pitt seemingly took style cues from all of his exes, including Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, and yes, herself.

Anyway, Man Repeller founder Leandra Medine Cohen posted a throwback collage of Pitt and his three most famous exes — and he's twinning with his former girlfriends in each photo. The caption? Brad: The man who likes to look like his girlfriend.

There he is with ex-wife Jolie looking solemn with dark locks and oversize sunglasses (an aesthetic she favors to this day). With Aniston, he's leaning heavily into the beach god/goddess look — bronzed skin, sun-kissed tresses, questionable facial hair. And, of course, it all started with Paltrow, with whom he's photographed looking polished with not a single swoop-y hair out of place.

Paltrow, who has become something of an Instagram comment legend on the platform, offered an opposing theory to the idea that it's Brad that's morphing into his dates: "Or we like to look like him, let's face it," she retorted. Excuse us while we adjust our balance because our world has been rocked.

So, is it true, Angelina and Jennifer? Let us be the first to advocate for a round table talk in which all of Pitt's fabulous exes answer the question: Which came first, the look or the Brad? We need answers.
