The autumn equinox doesn't technically take place until September 22, but many social media enthusiasts are saying goodbye to summer with videos and roundups. One celebrity who is also sharing a look at her summer is Gwyneth Paltrow, who posted a montage on Instagram that documents the last few months with her family and friends.

In the video, Paltrow gave followers a glimpse at her summer, which featured travel, trips to the Big Apple, and quality time with her loved ones. Paltrow's lookalike kids, Apple and Moses Martin (whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin), made cameos in the recap: She and Apple posed for some selfies while Paltrow wrapped her arm around Moses in another image. One photo captured Moses sitting on Martin's lap.

The star also included a couple of snaps with her husband Brad Falchuk, in addition to some photos with her famous friends, including Rashida Jones and Reese Witherspoon.

"Summer was good to us," Paltrow captioned the post. Witherspoon agreed, commenting, "?Divine Summer ?."

Paltrow is also busy adjusting to life as an empty-nester. Earlier in the year, the star spoke about Moses and her stepson, Brody (whom Falchuk shares with ex Suzanne Bukinik), heading off to school this fall. Moses will be attending Brown University.

“In the fall, Brad and I have boys that will be going off to university,” she told The Sunday Times. “It’ll be interesting to see how the morning routine changes with no kids in the house."

“On the one hand, incredible sadness. A deep sense of impending grief,” she added. “On the other hand, this is exactly what should be happening. Your kids are supposed to be, you know, young adults who can achieve and cope and make connections and be resilient. That’s exactly what you want. And that means they leave the house.”
