Halle Bailey's 9-Month-Old Son Halo is the Cutest Little Workout Partner — & His Mom's Exact Clone
Halle Bailey’s latest Instagram post had us rubbing our eyes to make sure we were seeing straight. And, YUP! That is her 9-month-old son Halo, and he really is the actress’ clone.
“Me & my bodyguard ??,” Bailey captioned an adorable mirror selfie on Instagram of her and Halo at the gym.

The two are twinning in black, with black and white bandanas, but that’s far from where the similarities end. They both look so strong. Bailey — who shares her son with boyfriend DDG — is subtly showing off her toned arms, legs, and abs. Meanwhile, Halo looks like such a big boy holding his head fully up while in a crawling position. “He looks like he ready to stand up ????,” one follower said, and we totally agree. Bailey’s “bodyguard” is going to be running laps around her before she knows it. (Well, adorably wobbly toddler laps!)
And then, of course, there’s their faces. Or should we say “face?” Because The Little Mermaid star and Halo have the exact same one! There’s not a speck of dad DDG on that kiddo’s expression. “That DNA said copy and PASTE!” one follower commented. “Girl that’s literally you on the floor next to you??????????,” another said. “She literally birthed a boy version of herself ?? so cute,” yet another fan added.
Earlier this year, Bailey opened up about her experience with “severe” postpartum depression. In a Snapchat video that was later shared on social media by a fan, Bailey got incredibly vulnerable about such a tough and [frustratingly] taboo topic.
“I think there’s something to be said about what women … go through … after building and creating this beautiful life, what happens to us and our well-being right after?” the star said, admitting she “didn’t realize how serious of a thing [PPD] actually was.”
She described her experience as swimming in an ocean with “the biggest waves you’ve ever felt, and you’re trying not to drown and you’re trying to come up for air.”
“You have those moments where you come up for air and they feel like the most beautiful things and it’s great,” Bailey said. “Then you have those moments where you’re drowning again.”
“I don’t know if any new moms can relate,” she continued, “but it’s to the point where it’s really bad, and it’s hard for me to be separated from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out.”
Five months later, we are hoping with everything we have that the waves have subsided, that Bailey has gotten the help she needs, and that Halo was just by her side at the gym because he’s the cutest little workout partner we’ve ever seen — not because Bailey feared being without her “bodyguard.”
These famous moms love wearing matching outfits with their kiddos.
