After the performance, they announced that “Home for the Holiday” will be featured in “Season’s Greetings from Cherry Lane,” set to stream on Hallmark+ on Dec. 5.

Bennett stars in the movie alongside Annabelle Bourke, Corey Cott, Sarah Dugdale, Shannon Kook and Vincent Rodriguez III. The “Cherry Lane” movie is one of three sequels to the 2023 hit, returning to 7 Cherry Lane to highlight different families who have lived in the family over the course of 70 years, homing in on different eras.

“For me, Christmas time and Hallmark Channel movies evoke the same feelings. They’re both hopeful, they’re both positive and for me they’re both a happy ending that you can count on,” Vaughan told Variety while on board. “To get to have a song I sing be a part of that is really magical.”

The songs are two of four on his upcoming EP, “Feels Like Christmas,” which will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 12. He cowrote the EP with Mark Vogel.

“I wanted to write the kind of Christmas music that you know exactly what you’re in for the minute it starts. Music that is undeniably of the season. And hopefully, music makes you happier as it goes along,” Vaughan added. “These tracks are all originals, not covers, because I wanted to create music that reflects what Christmas music sounds like to me. This is dance around the living room kind of Christmas music and I’m really proud of it.”
