We’re only in July, but it’s never too early to start thinking about what’s coming to Hallmark for Christmas. That’s particularly true with the introduction of Hallmark+ and the new holiday series – both scripted and reality series – coming our way. And that’s without going into Countdown to Christmas’ 15th anniversary. So, what’s the Hallmark 2024 Christmas Schedule? We break it all down for you right here.

The Christmas Quest

Three Wiser Men & a Boy

Logline: Five years after the events of 2022’s Three Wise Men and a Baby transpired the Brenner brothers are back. “In a crazy turn of events, possibly brought on accidentally by the brothers themselves, the director of Luke’s (Walker) son Thomas’ (Miles Marthaller) school holiday musical steps down. Luke is desperate to make his son’s stage dreams come true, so he enlists the help of his brothers Taylor (Hynes) and Stephan (Campbell). Meanwhile, the trio navigates meeting their mom Barbara’s (Colin) new boyfriend and the brothers grapple with their own feelings about this relationship.”

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story
Starring: Tyler Hynes, Hunter King, Ed Begley Jr.

Logline: Alana Higman (King) is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s ‘Fan of the Year’ contest. Derrick (Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfather’s (Begley Jr.) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.
The Finnish Line
Starring: Kim Matula, Beau Mirchoff, and Nichole Sakura

Logline: Inspired by her father’s acclaimed legacy in dog sled racing, Anya (Matula) decides to follow in his footsteps. After his passing, she heads to Finland to participate in the 40th annual Joulurauha race, her father’s final race where he fell short of the victory. Following an injury to her lead dog during the qualifying race, Anya finds herself partnered with a new canine companion owned by journalist and former racer Cole, (Mirchoff) who aims to pen a story about her journey. Struggling to build trust with her new dog and facing her father’s rival, Monty, (Páll Sigtór Pálsson, Mr. Murphy) Anya must navigate many challenges as she strives to win the race.

Logline: Holidazed follows six families from different backgrounds, cultures, and generations, all living on the same cul-de-sac, as they gather for the holiday season. During a time when emotions are amplified, each family comes together to celebrate their unique, rich traditions and navigate family eccentricities that ultimately help them discover what they do have in common: LOVE in all its different forms.
Finding Mr. Christmas
Starring: Jonathan Bennett
Release Date: Fall 2024, exclusively on Hallmark+.
Logline: Ten aspiring actors compete in a variety of entertaining challenges, with a Hallmark twist, to be crowned Hallmark’s next leading man and take home the title of “Mr. Christmas” in Hallmark’s first reality competition series, Finding Mr. Christmas. Co-created, executive produced, and hosted by Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls, The Holiday Sitter) and starring lead judge Melissa Peterman (Reba, Haul Out the Holly), special guest judges will join this duo throughout the series and put these “hunky” men to the test to determine who has the most talent, heart, authenticity and charisma to be the next Hallmark superstar. At the finale, the winner will receive a special leading role in one of this year’s Countdown to Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel.

Ready, Set, Glow!
Starring: Wes Brown

Logline: Get into the holiday spirit this holiday season on Hallmark+ by witnessing extraordinary light displays across the country in the new unscripted series, Ready, Set, Glow! In this three-episode limited series, host Wes Brown (Haul out the Holly: Lit Up, Sweet Pecan Summer) will travel to some of the most beautiful holiday light displays of individual family homes, groups of neighbors who decorate the full block, or a town’s festive holiday installation. This merry and heartwarming series will enchant viewers as they hear these hometown holiday enthusiasts’ moving backstories and why they spread holiday cheer in their communities.
