It looks like wedding bells will soon be ringing for Halsey and Avan Jogia, as the singer themself confirmed the two are engaged post-VMAs 2024.

Halsey, who was one of the performers at the 2024 VMAs, opened up about their relationship with Avan Jogia speaking to E! ahead of the show. “Avan is the best; he's one of the best things that's ever happened to me, and, you know, every single day that I get to spend with him is one where I just feel, like, I'm with my best friend, you know what I mean? It's incredible,” Halsey told the interviewer.

When asked if they had plans to ever get married, Halsey didn't hesitate to respond: “I hope so!” And it looks like it was not just a saying. Hasley actually confirmed they and Jogia are already engaged in replying to a post by the popular X account PopBase. In the post, PopBase referred to Jogia as Halsey's boyfriend, and the singer was quick to correct it to fiancé in a quote post.

Speaking to E!, Halsey also opened up about Jogia's relationship with their son Ender, whom she welcomed in 2021 with then-partner Alev Aydin. “They are best friends, too; they are inseparable,” Halsey said of Ender and Jogia. Halsey and Aydin's breakup was first reported in the spring of 2023, and they began dating Jogia later that same year. The couple went Instagram official just before Halloween last year.

Ahead of the VMAs, Halsey and fiancé Avan Jogia enjoyed dinner at Carbone in New York City on September 6, 2024.
