Halsey Wishes Boyfriend Evan Peters 'Happy Birthday' with Rare Photo of the Couple Kissing
Singer Halsey has been making headlines all week for dropping her latest album "Manic." However, it wasn't her music that broke the internet Monday, rather a rare photo of her kissing boyfriend Evan Peters.
The black and white photo shows the couple kissing in the top shot and then hugging in the bottom flick, displaying the pictures photo-booth style.
Halsey's caption reads, "Happy birthday darling. I can't imagine a world without you in it."
While Halsey has posted about boyfriends in the past, she recently told The Sun she intends to keep this relationship private so fans were shocked to see the public display of affection.

Why doesn't the singer like PDA anymore?
Despite confirming on "The Ellen Show" that she's been dating Peters since around Halloween time last year, the singer hasn't posted about her boyfriend on Instagram until now.
In her recent interview with The Sun, Halsey explained, "A friend of mine -- another female artist who has been criticized for dating a lot of people -- said, 'Ashley, you need to live your f***ing life and ignore what people say about you.' And so now I keep everything to myself in terms of my romantic relationships. I will say that it's good to not date another musician as then your work follows you everywhere. Now it's my personal life so I get to go home to somebody that I love and spend time with them, and it not be about work."
Many fans think the "friend" Halsey is referring to is Taylor Swift. Halsey wished the pop star "Happy Birthday" in December on Instagram.
Who is Halsey's boyfriend Evan Peters?
While Halsey's beau Evan Peters may not be a musician like some of her ex-boyfriends, he is far from an average Joe. Peters is most famous for his lead roles on the television series "American Horror Story."
Peters also played Peter Maximoff in several movies from the X-Men series and Todd in "Kick Ass."
As fans on Twitter pointed out, Halsey definitely had her eye on the popular actor for awhile. Back in 2013, she reportedly tweeted, "Petition for Evan Peters to date me." Apparently, dreams do come true since she didn't enter the music scene until 2015 and was merely a fan at the time of her original tweet.
Halsey had public relationships in the past.
It's likely along with (allegedly) Taylor Swift's advice, Halsey wants to keep things quieter this time around because her relationship with rapper G-Eazy was too public.
After all, the whole world saw the couple's high points when they were singing together on hits like "Him & I" but also saw all their dirty laundry aired out when Halsey bashed her ex's infidelity on Twitter.
It seemed she tried the public route again after she split with G-Eazy and got with singer Yungblud. However, their relationship fizzled with her career stealing away her focus. While Halsey claims the two didn't end with bad blood, it's likely she wanted to avoid the "serial dater" reputation if things with Peters ended up short-lived too.
Evan had a messy past relationship too.
It's also likely Evan Peters shares Halsey's wishes to keep their relationship private. Peters, himself, is a private person, with only a total of six photos on his verified Instagram page.
In addition, Peters also engaged in public relationships in the past that didn't end so well. He dated Emma Roberts for seven years, before calling off their marriage engagement.
The ultimate event showcasing the toxicity in their relationship was when Emma Roberts was arrested for domestic abuse in 2013 after leaving Peters with bite marks and a bloody nose. Despite the incident, Peters refused to press charges and the two stayed together until 2019.
One fan on Twitter pointed out how similar Halsey's birthday post photo looks to photo-booth photos Evan took with Sarah Paulson on "American Horror Story" in 2016 and with Emma Roberts in real life that same year.
