Hulu on Friday released the first behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming Season 6. In the image, which you can see below, series star/executive producer/director Elisabeth Moss holds a production slate marking the start of filming.
As Moss exclusively shared with TVLine in May, she’s directing four episodes in the Hulu drama’s final run: the premiere, Episode 2, the penultimate hour and the finale.
“I think for us, the most exciting and rewarding thing is that we feel we’re making this for the fans,” she said at the time. “I get it: Five years of having to put up with some pretty dark stuff, and everyone has been very, very brave.”

She added: “I feel like this season, we’re giving it back to the audience… We definitely really have our eye on that, making sure that it does feel rewarding and satisfying for the fans and like what we would want to watch, you know, as fans of the show.”
Season 6 also will see the introduction of a new character, played by The Good Wife vet Josh Charles, who recently co-starred with Moss in The Veil. No details are available about Charles’ role, though he will be a series regular.
