'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown breaks silence on Tyler Cameron's dates with Gigi Hadid
Hannah Brown continues to keep it real post-Bachelorette. The most recent star of the ABC dating show appeared on Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky‘s podcast Bachelor Happy Hour where she opened up about Tyler Cameron's recent dates with Gigi Hadid.
Brown and her runner-up spent time (and the night) together after last week's shocking finale where she revealed she broke up with winner Jed Wyatt — and asked Cameron out for drinks. Then, days later, Cameron was spotted out with the supermodel.
"I guess I find it disrespectful," Lindsay began. "It’s kind of like, bro, slow your roll. You’re on Twitter talking about ‘Hannah’s the queen’ and preaching about respect, but then you’re being a little disrespectful by dating her in such a public way where you know it’s going to get so much attention. I think that’s my beef with it."
Brown agreed. "I think that’s my beef with it, too. We are not dating-dating, at all, we hung out, but we also had conversations of both, like, knowing that there’s still something there," she explained. "When you are in the public eye, you do have to just be respectful of each other. And yeah, I wish I would’ve got a little bit more than two days. But, you know, it is OK."
The Alabama native was asked if she was hurt by Cameron.
"Let me think of how I want to answer this," she replied. "He has every right to do whatever he wants because we were, you know, just hanging out, seeing where it goes. And I am completely fine with that."
She added, "It was a little confusing, but he can do whatever he wants to and I know that I can, too. And I am going to continue going onward and upward. I just think that I’ve made it very clear — I have no shame in saying, yeah, I had feelings. Totally did. Totally still have feelings but, at the same time, I am not tied to any man or tied to Tyler and I’m not going to be."
Brown continued, "Everything that I said that I feel like I want, deserve, the type of respect that I want from a man, I still believe that. I still am going to hold those standards for any man in my life. So I am going to wait on a man to give me that."
Hadid and Cameron, who is also a model, first connected on Instagram although they apparently have mutual friends.
"She knew of him before he got any wind of fame from the Bachelorette," an insider told E! News. "Gigi is definitely interested in Tyler. They met for drinks [Sunday] at Soho and they got along really well. It was very casual but they were laughing and had a very engaged conversation."
The source added, "Gigi thinks Tyler is really cute and nice and liked that he was a good listener. They have been texting for weeks and have plans to hangout again while Tyler is in NYC. They are both taking things slow but have both made it clear they are interested in each other."
After their outing this weekend, the pair fueled romance rumors with a bowling date.
It remains to be seen who will get Tyler Cameron's final rose.
