Hannah Gosselin reunited with her rarely-seen sister Leah Gosselin after a years-long estrangement due to their parents,’ Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin’s, feud.

“Spend the day with me and my sister,” Hannah, 20, shared via her Snapchat Stories, The U.S. Sun reported on Tuesday, November 5.

The two girls looked happy to be reunited as they hadn’t spent much time together following the 2009 split of their parents. In 2018, Jon, 47, gained primary custody of Collin Gosselin, with Hannah choosing to live with them as well. Meanwhile, the couple’s other children — including twins Madelyn and Cara and the other four sextuplets Leah, Aaden, Joel, and Alexis — have lived with Kate, 49, since the split.

Kate has reportedly “put a wrench” in Hannah’s relationship with her estranged siblings, according to an Us Weekly report.

“She’s definitely spent a lot of time making sure the kids don’t spend time together because she’s really upset Hannah chose to live with Jon,” a source told Us Weekly in April 2022. “They live in North Carolina [with mom Kate Gosselin], and she lives with her dad [and brother Collin] in Pennsylvania. … It is sad. She does hope that at one point she can see her brothers and sisters. They were all very, very close and her leaving to go live with Jon had absolutely nothing to do with her brothers and sisters. She loves them to death.”

Collin, 20, also said his relationship with his brothers and sisters was his “top priority” and admitted he was “open” to reconciling with his mother despite their rocky relationship. In the past, he accused the mom of eight of harsh treatment that included tying him up and locking him into a “containment room” in the family’s basement, which he claimed started before he turned 10.

“I think the only way that my mother and I would be able to reconnect and fix our relationship in the future is if she would just come forward with the truth and all the things that she has kept under wraps,” he told The U.S. Sun on October 9.

Although Colin said he was “enjoying college,” he also claimed his dream of completing his training in the Marine Corps was derailed due to his past institutionalization by his mom. Kate — who divorced Jon in 2009 after ten years of marriage — allegedly put Collin in an institution in 2016 when he was “11 or 12” after he allegedly had issues with his fellow sextuplets.

“I was discharged,” he told Entertainment Tonight about how he was let go from the Marines in August. “I was towards the end of training, very close to graduating. The paperwork was looked into, and they found out that I was, in fact, in an institution at one point in my life.”

In the July 2023 episode of Vice TV’s Dark Side of the 2000s, Collin broke his silence on why he believed he was separated from his siblings. “I was starting to tell people what was going on at home and, you know, [Kate] caught wind of that and had to put me somewhere where I wouldn’t be able to get the secrets out,” he alleged, adding that his mom was “going through a lot of things.” “I mean, a divorce and plenty of different things that can’t be easy to go through,” Collin added.

That same month, Kate told her side of the story in a lengthy Instagram post. “Unfortunately, I believe Collin remains a very troubled young man who continues to need a lot of help,” she wrote. “His brothers and sisters and I have not been directly involved in his life due to his history of unpredictable behavior and violent tendencies towards us.”
