“Oh, definitely. I’ll be singing the theme song,” she said in a People interview.. We’ve started working on it, and we’ll have it soon finished. If they say it’s a go, I’ll finish it up and have it ready for when we go to series.” She’d better get on it, as the greenlight arrived on May 7.

McEntire previously performed the Reba theme song, a version of her 2001 single, I’m a Survivor. The song is a staple in McEntire’s concerts.
She says working on the new series, which reunites her with former Reba costar Melissa Peterman, has been “so much fun” thus far.
“Rex Linn, my boyfriend, is also part of the show. We’ve got a great ensemble with same producers, showrunner, and writers as we had with the Reba show, and it’s a great script,” gushes McEntire.
She provided details on the new plot.
“My [character Bobbie’s] dad was Happy, that was his name, and we owned a tavern called Happy’s Place,” she says. “Well, Happy passed, and so he’s passed the tavern on to me, but there’s a little hiccup involved, so that’s the mystery right there. Everybody has to tune in and watch it, and I hope they love it.”
NBCUniversal previously said that McEntire’s “hiccup” is that she has a half-sister as a new business partner, played by Belissa Escobedo, that she never knew she had,
On Happy’s Place, Melissa Peterman will portray Gabby, a bartender who’s “a bit needy and dramatic.”
McEntire is also set to host and perform at the 2024 ACM Awards at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, streaming live via Prime Video at 8 p.m. on May 16.
