From Hermione to Hedwig to Hogwarts, visit the Wizarding World with new line of 'Harry Potter' toys (exclusive)
November marks the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter film franchise. And Spin Master is celebrating that magical month with the debut of all-new Wizarding World toys — including an adorable plush version of the boy wizard's winged companion, Hedwig. Available this fall, the Enchanting Hedwig Interactive Plush ($39.99) is the closest you'll get to having your own magical owl... one who will actually recognize and respond to the tone of your voice.
And not only will she respond to your voice — she'll also respond to your requests! Enchanting Hedwig can flap her wings, turn her head and let you know when you're rubbing her feathers the wrong way. She also comes with Hogwarts-embossed envelope that she'll hold in her beak until the letter recipient issues a specific combination of interactions. Talk about special delivery.
Spin Master isn't just making toys based on the Wizarding World's animal population. The company also has a line of 8-inch storytelling dolls modeled after best buddies Harry and Hermione, as well as their Dumbledore's Army collaborators Luna Lovegood and Cho Chang. All four figures ($9.99) come dressed in their Hogwarts finest, and a bonus Deluxe Brilliant Hermione Doll ($19.99) features alternative Muggle clothing and her cat, Crookshanks.
And speaking of Hogwarts, you can make that magical institution part of your own room with the Magical Minis Hogwarts Castle ($64.99) — a replica of England's premiere School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main unit comes with a number of famous rooms (including Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom) featuring interactive lights and sound elements, as well as 12 accessories and a 3-inch Hermione figure.
Additional Magic Minis classroom playsets and characters — including Dumbledore, Hagrid and a smaller, but no less enchanting Hedwig — are sold separately. Just remember: these toys won't be delivered by owl.
Spin Master's Wizarding World toys will be available at most major retailers in the fall.
