Hawk Tuah Girl Haliey Welch to Launch Podcast ‘Talk Tuah’ From Jake Paul’s Media Company
After making a splash on social media as “Hawk Tuah Girl,” Haliey Welch is continuing to shut down the haters as she lands a new gig.
Welch is set to host the podcast Talk Tuah as part of the Betr banner, with the first episode debuting Sept. 10 on social, digital and audio platforms. The weekly podcast will see Welch showcasing her comedic style and Southern charm through a blend of interviews, lively discussions and humorous moments.

The first episode features guest Whitney Cummings, while later visitors include Josh Richards and Jake Paul. Welch will also contribute to Betr Media’s social media content.
Betr is a sports media and mobile betting company founded by Paul and Joey Levy in 2022. The company’s programming includes BS w/ Jake Paul, Twin Talk with Hanna and Haley Cavinder, Nickals and Dimes from host Bo Nickal and Caps Off from co-hosts Adam Tabatchnick and Jack Parodi.
“This is a major addition to the Betr Media family as we continue to strategically differentiate ourselves in the market,” Betr head of media Mike Denevi said in a statement. “Haliey Welch is a bona fide superstar, and her charisma, unique perspective and innate connection with her audience make her the perfect fit for our platform. Talk Tuah will bring a fresh and dynamic voice to our content lineup, and we can’t wait for our audience and brand sponsors to connect with Haliey in an authentic way that embodies the ethos of Betr Media as a whole.”
Welch added, “Y’all kept asking, ‘What’s next?’ Well, this is it! I’m so thankful to have my own podcast where you’ll discover the real Haliey Welch. I’m delighted to join the team at Betr who fully gets me. Together, we’re going to introduce the world to Talk Tuah every Tuesday, starting Sept. 10. My show will have a little of everything — great guests, laughs, chitchats about your pets, relationship pointers, sports and, of course, some down-home Southern charm.”
A trailer for the project shows footage of Welch recording her podcast and riding on a jet ski. She says in the video, “Y’all really thought I was done? I’m just getting started, baby.”
Welch became instantly ubiquitous on social media after her on-the-street interview with Tim & Dee TV that went viral earlier this summer and featured her describing a supposedly foolproof method for exciting a man in the bedroom. Since then, the 21-year-old from Belfast, Tennessee, has appeared onstage with Zach Bryan, amassed more than two million Instagram followers and launched her charitable fund Paws Across America.
She is signed with management company The Penthouse, and founder Jonnie Forster recently chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about his team’s vision for Welch’s path. During the conversation, Forster revealed that he had turned down numerous opportunities for her, including a spot on American Idol and roles in several movies, and that she was more focused on a potential podcast and reality television series.
“People just want to talk with her and get to know her more,” Forster explained about the aim for the podcast. As for the possible unscripted TV show, he teased, “There are a couple different ideas. We’ll be sitting down with a couple of the showrunners that have already had calls with us and flesh that out.”
