HBO's 'Vice' renewed for two more seasons

Vice is getting two more seasons. HBO announced Wednesday that the documentary series, born out of the media company of the same name known for its immersive journalism, will return in 2015 with a 14-episode third season and a fourth in 2016.

The show is hosted by Shane Smith, Vice’s (the media company) founder. In the Emmy-nominated series, Smith and other Vice correspondents travel the world and report on global issues ranging from terrorism to climate change. So far, the show has traveled to Greenland, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and North Korea, among other places.

Vice’s second season premiered March 14 and airs Friday nights at 11:30 p.m. ET.
